Honoring my country and serving along side my teammates has never been an option, rather a steady and a given. This commitment has allowed me to triumph a 27-year career as an active duty Soldier. Sustaining life-threatening injuries; losing two of my brothers in arms and being rendered blind by a mortar round has not slowed me down. As an injured service member, I will not degrade my aspiration to continue to serve and give back.
While a service member’s battlefield is operated where our nation send us, at home our Special Operators face a different battle; a battle where at times the enemy is not always defined.
Regardless of where our duties take us, Families are our constant and our core. Whether serving over-seas or here at home, nourishing a healthy personal life and a household is also a priority. Our battle is never ending.
Pillars of education, community service and employment are vital to every head of household. Less than 2% of the population in the US serves their military; these are the men and women who safeguard our freedoms and liberty. It is these professionals that have given, and these professionals whom I pledge to honor and continue to serve.
At SOF, we aspire and find ways to assist the Special Operation Forces and their Families with their education and employment. We also encourage all Americans to make a difference in the community in which they work, live and play.
Those who contribute to Special Operators Foundation will know that they are honoring those who serve. Donors can be assured that their bequests will support programs for our Special Operations Forces and their Families designed to educate, employ, and build communities.
My personal experiences and perseverance led to the founding of Special Operators Foundation and with the help of supporters like you, we will continue to Honor those who Serve and Sustain their Families.
